I also found A Field Guide to Getting Lost by Rebecca Solnit useful in relation to walking and journeying and reasons to go out walking.
Plus Sarah Maitland – A Book of Silence Sleeping in her car in Scotland to be close to where she wanted to walk.
What about including popular books like Robert Macfarlane’s Mountains of the Mind and Wild Places – these inspired me to get out and bring mountain leaders and contemporary art together in walking trips.
I also loved Tacita Dean’s LOST curated exhibition at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham
Also Poetry
Sylvia Plath and her Wuthering Heights in ‘Crossing the Water’
Hi,
I found this very interesting, I guess it could go in the General section. He is a novelist but this is autobiographical.
The Lost Art of Walking: The History, Science, and Literature of Pedestrianism, Geoff Nicholson
Your bibliography is great!

NOTE THAT LIGHTNING is supposed to be in italics, as it is a book title, but the italics got lost during cutting and pasting into this box.
